BoA Weekend 2014

Fifty Year Flashback ~ The Spirit of  ’64
On Saturday, 30th August, from 2.30pm onwards, Club President Tony Hadland will be hosting the live event in the courtyard, the “Spirit of 64″ session.

If you have a 1964 Moulton , in any condition, from the following list, please bring it along for Tony to show and talk about.

  • Safari
  • Speed (red M4 model)
  • Stowaway
  • S Deluxe
  • S Safari
  • S Stowaway
(The New Look versions, the Triangs and the 14-inch wheel Mini variants had not yet appeared!)
If possible, please wear something from ‘The Swinging Sixties’ !!

 

 

First Aiders required for the Club weekend in August.

The Club is looking for members to volunteer their services as First Aiders for this year’s meeting at Bradford on Avon this 29th, 30th and 31st August.

Our regular First Aiders cannot attend this year as they have other commitments.

You would need a currently valid certificate.

Equipment will be provided.

Please e-mail me if you are coming to the event and are willing to be a First Aider.

Change of eating venue for April Memorial Meeting

Change of eating venue for April Memorial Meeting BoA 2013.

The Riverside Inn will not be able to host us for the Saturday evening or the Sunday lunch meals.

We will now eat at The Beef and Barge, at Widbrook Marina by the
Kennet and Avon Canal, along the road to Trowbridge.

Alex Moulton Memorial Weekend

Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April 2013.

Gates at The Hall will open at 10:00 on Saturday morning.
Please give your name and membership number at the gate and proceed down the hill to the Courtyard.

Moulton Preservation, Moulton Regalia and Moulton Bicycle Company will have sales stalls in the Courtyard.
Refreshments will be available.

On Saturday evening, we will meet at The Riverside Inn, by St. Margaret’s Hall from 7 p.m. for an evening meal.

On Sunday, there will be 2 rides, a Family Ride of 10 miles and a 25 mile ride leaving from St. Margaret’s Hall at 10 a.m.
Following the rides, we will meet back at The Riverside for lunch.

Dr. Alex Moulton – Funeral Arrangements

The funeral of Dr. Alex Moulton will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Bradford on Avon, at 12 noon on Wednesday 19th December.

Moultoneers are invited to meet from 11am at The Riverside Inn before attending the service.

By kind permission of the Priest, bicycles may be locked to the railings or in the Churchyard.

The Moulton Bicycle Company will provide security during the service.
