Hi all, Molly rides prefectly well but when not or freewheeling there seems a large amount of chain slack which looks unsightly. Has anyone successfully mated a Brommie chain tensioner with an F frame?

look’s like there is one that is fixed using the wheel spindle bolt, can’t see why it wouldn’t work for about 16 quid probably worth a punt

How old/worn is the chain on your bike please?
F-frames do not usually need a tensioner to take up the slack

I agree, either the chain is unserviceable or the back wheel needs
    tension, an awkward job admittedly

    Hi all,

The chain has done only around 200 miles. I eventually went the half link route and that allowed me to tension the wheel back without going beyond the max depth of the brake arms.
