Cevennes, France, May 2010

In May 2010, I completed a six-day tour in the Cevennes mountains in France. This was an unsupported tour – we carried everything we needed, including tents, sleeping bags, and cooking equipment. Most days, we carried all of our food for the day too.

I will post a full write up of the tour shortly. Details of the route including maps are below.

Day 1 – Rodez Airport to Near Le Massegros, 76km

Day 2 – Le Massegros to Near Florac, 67km

Day 3 – Near Florac to Florac, 16.5km
Very short day due to one of our travelling campanions having a broken wheel (this would never happen with a Moulton!)

Day 4 – Florac – Bangnols les Bains, 49km

Day 5 – Bangnols les Bains – Langogne, 90km

Day 6 – Langogne – Le Puy en Velay, 66km
