In loving memory of Michael Woolf, in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity.

This unique, 'one-off' bicycle was built by the Moulton Bicycle Company at the Club's 50th Anniversary Meeting in August 2025 to be won by lottery. The draw will take place on Saturday 22nd August 2026 at 12:30pm approx.

  • Tickets are £10 each (10 GBP) and may be purchased online, by post or in person at the Bradford on Avon Meeting in August. (Further purchasing details below)

Michael Woolf was an inspirational member of this Club, whose motivation and charm led to the further development of the Club in the 1980s. He also created Moulton Preservation enabling many F-Frame Moulton bicycles to be refurbished and restored.

This lottery is about making a suitable tribute to a much loved and missed member of the Club.

ALL the money received from the sale of tickets will go to The Brain Tumour Charity (Registered Number 1150054), which assisted Michael during his illness.

The bicycle and the the raffle cost have come from Moulton Bicycle Club funds.

By Post: Please send Cheques payable to 'Moulton Bicycle Club' in multiples of £10 to: Simon Jones, 5 Davies Road, Moreton in Marsh, Gloucestershire, GL56 0HR, United Kingdom.

Please include your phone number and either your email address or a Stamped, Self-addressed Envelope for confirmation of your purchase.

Cheques to be received by 12th August 2026 at the latest.

In Person: You will be able to buy tickets at the Club's Bradford on Avon Meeting in August 2026.

Michael Woolf Bike Lottery Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter: The raffle is promoted by Moulton Bicycle Club, a registered small society under the Gambling Act 2005, licensed by Wiltshire Council.

2. Eligibility: Entrants must be aged 16 or over at the time of ticket purchase. The raffle is open to Moulton Bicycle Club members or the general public.

3. Tickets: Each ticket costs £10. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. All tickets must be purchased before 11: 30am on Saturday 22nd August 2026. Tickets being purchased by cheque using the postal service need to be received by 12th August 2026.

4. Draw Date and Method: The draw will take place at the Moulton Bicycle Club weekend at The Hall, Bradford on Avon on Saturday 22nd August 2026 at approximately 12:30pm. A physical ticket will be created for every entry. The winning ticket will be drawn at random by the President of the Club under supervision of the Club Chair.

5. Prize: The prize is as stated and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternatives. The promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

6. Notification of Winners: The Winner will be contacted in person via phone within 7 days of the draw. Details of the winning ticket number will be published on the Moulton Bicycle Club website and in The Moultoneer magazine.

7. Unclaimed Prize / Incorrect Contact Details: If the prize is not claimed within 30 days, it maybe re-drawn or used for future fundraising. If paying online (via the SumUp link) and a working phone number is not provided in the Name field this will be taken as a charitable donation and the person will not be entered into the draw.

9. Data Protection: Personal data will be used solely for the administration of the raffle and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.

10. Legal Compliance: This raffle is conducted in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 and the regulations for Small Society Lotteries. The Club Chair and Club President will not be taking part in the lottery.
