The Preston Guild Wheel is a 21 mile cycle path that circles around the city.
The cycle path was built by Lancashire County Council with the support of Preston City Council (and significant help from volunteers) to leave a lasting legacy to Preston Guild 2012.
The Guild Wheel makes the most of the different landscapes and greenery that surrounds the city, creating a rich and varied environment for everyone to enjoy cycling.
A good mixture of varied sections. Mainly well surfaced apart from one section that becomes a little muddy at times and is advisable to walk, but the majority is enjoyable cycling for all. A few steep bits but mostly flat.
Meet at car park to rear of 'Touch of Spice' (currently changing hands from previously named 'Gate of bengal' Indian restaurant, (in case they haven't changed the signage) 10 am for 10.30 departure on Sunday 23rd April.
