Robert and Clive will lead you to areas of untold beauty in London’s largest Royal Park, covering approximately 2,500 acres. It is a National Nature Reserve famous for its ancient trees, historic deer herds, and The Isabella Plantation.
Why not join their annual pilgrimage to celebrate the wonders of the Moulton F-frame and spirit of our much missed friend Michael. The ride celebrates restoring and riding of F-Frame Moultons. Dust down your F-Frame Moultons* and join us for a gentle soiree around Richmond Park. Be part of one of the largest gatherings of F-Frame Moultons and celebrate the founding and true spirit of The Moulton Bicycle Club.
Meet at Roehampton Gate Car Park (free parking) to set off at 10.30 am.
The ride is a very leisurely pace of about 12 miles in length, mainly off road, following the Tamsin Trail. The ride is ideal for those who prefer a gentle amble on their F-Frames. There is one optional hill towards the end of the ride.
There are plenty of refreshment stops on route and places of interest to see, with a picnic lunch at Pembroke Lodge. Bring your own food or buy snacks from Pembroke Lodge kiosk nearby.
The event ends at Roehampton Gate Tea Rooms and disperses by about 3.30 pm.
Michael Woolf created the world of Moulton Preservation and it is our privilege to continue to enjoy it.
We looking forward to seeing you there.
Robert & Clive.
NB: The ride falls within the Ultra-Low Emission Zone.
